Steelhead Valhalla Lodge

Located on the banks of the Sustut River, Steelhead Valhalla Lodge consists of charming hand hewn log structures built in the 50's--all fully renovated in 2017 and 2018. The lodge is an expansive, well appointed structure with ample space  for gourmet meals, appetizers, drinks and camaraderie.  The individual cabins are the nicest in the business. Each cabin has a covered porch, view of the river,  plenty of storage for gear, a sitting area to relax beside a wood stove(lit daily by our crew), and a full private bathroom. We may be in the middle of wilderness, but there is no comfort or amenity sacrificed. For snorers, we have a limited number of single accommodations available at no up-charge.

Lodge Cuisine

The meals served at Steelhead Valhalla Lodge are  all from scratch with fresh ingredients. Sample menu items include braised lamb shank, cedar plank wild sockeye salmon, spot prawns each accompanied by freshly baked breads, hearty salads and BC's finest vegetables. Meals are plated, but the atmosphere is pure casual and fun.  Domestic Canadian wines are served with evening meals and beer is included in your package. Lunches are served by your guide along the river and range from Thai Basil Chicken soup, grilled burgers with all of the accoutrements to gourmet sandwiches of your choosing.
